Location:
Haliburton Highlands Family Health Team in the Towns of Minden and
Haliburton.
This Family
Health Network of nine physicians has become a Family Health Team (FHT)
and is now recruiting for more family physicians. This regional FHT
will provide primary care in multiple sites and will be
interdisciplinary, including RN(EC), RN, RD, SW, Chiropodist, Pharmacist,
etc. Practice locations include a new family health facility
completed in May 2006. Technology has been utilized to create a
paperless work environment for health practitioners. We are a
teaching practice for the Department of Family and Community
Medicine of the University of Toronto.

Practice where
you play! Additional ER Physicians needed. We provide a great
experience in rural family medicine with a broad scope of practice
including a busy emergency and acute inpatient settings. Haliburton
Highlands is a beautiful lake region on the Canadian Shield just
south of Algonquin Park and east of Muskoka. Enjoy recreational opportunities. Enjoy fresh clean air,
safe streets, the splendors of nature just outside your window with
the excitement of Ontario’s key cities a short drive away. The
region is home to approximately 17,000 permanent residents and many
more seasonal residents.
