We help enable seniors and adults with disabilities and/or health issues, and their caregivers, to remain independent at their place of residence for a longer period. We actively collaborate with other health partners and community service providers to create an awareness of client needs and enhance the quality of life.

People Helping People

"People Helping People" ... This simple phrase is much more than a theme. It is what we do. It is who we are.

For more than 30 years our staff and volunteers have been addressing the needs of people in every part of Haliburton County.  A caring heart is at the centre of everything we do.

We are a voluntary association of citizens engaged in, and concerned with, meeting the needs of seniors and adults with disabilities and/or illnesses and their caregivers throughout Haliburton County.  We provide community support services to help them remain independent at their place of residence for a longer period.  If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer with the Community Support Services, see the Volunteers section for more information.

We provide a host of services to our clients. See our list of services in the sidebar at left.

Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. An answering service is available if you call after regular business hours.

The Community Support Services office is located across the parking lot from the Haliburton site of HHHS.
